As a British Army Major General who commanded forces across northern Canada, Brock is best known for his decisive leadership during the War of 1812. In Evony, he serves as a Main City Defense General, offering powerful bonuses to in-city ground and mounted troops. This guide covers his Special Skill, Specialty, General Covenant bonuses, and all available acquisition paths.
Historical Background
Isaac Brock, a distinguished British Major General, is remembered for his strategic brilliance and extraordinary bravery during the War of 1812.
Born into a military family, Brock demonstrated remarkable courage from a young age. Early in his career, he accepted a close-range pistol duel against a professional duelist—an encounter he won without firing a shot, as the duelist fled in fear. The incident solidified his reputation within the army.
As he rose to the rank of Major in the Canadian region, Brock became deeply tied to the defense of the northern territories. In 1812, when invasion loomed, he rapidly assembled a defensive force and personally led a daring nighttime assault on Fort Detroit. Outnumbered several times over, Brock’s boldness forced the enemy to surrender. This decisive victory earned him the Order of the Bath and the enduring title “The Hero of Upper Canada.”
Tragically, he fell during the Battle of Queenston Heights later that year. His leadership and legacy, however, continue to inspire generations.
